The freedom it gives to be out enjoying nature’s sounds and colours and cooperating with nature is a gift. I very much enjoy the different seasons and the variations and opportunities they give. It is my greatest pleasure to make people able to experience the Norwegian and arctic nature in a safe, comfortable and eco friendly way.” |

Ida StrømstadIda grew up with the forest as her closest playground, and she learned early to appreciate the treasures and good values that nature gives. Varied nature experiences through her childhood led Ida onto the thought of working in the nature, and use it as her “office”. She started on an outdoor life education on Hedmark University College, and has not regretted a day since. Ida also has experience as a teacher in outdoors life at Hedmark University College, and she in now studying nature-, culture- and tourism in addition to working. One of Ida’s main interests is fly fishing, and you can often see her by the boarders of The Rena River, - chasing for the big trout and good experiences. “There are many things in my life that make me happy, but few things make me happier than a trip outdoors. It doesn’t really matter whether it’s a week in the mountains with a tent and my fly rod, or “just” an evening out by the bonfire with good friends. The feeling of total freedom and calmness in the nature is unbeatable, and I love it! The nature guide – education I got at Hedmark University College led to my employment in Turgleder. This again led to the fact that I now do what I love the most: - Going on trips, - with other people. To have the possibility to show people the Norwegian nature as the treasure- chest that it is. Experience and learn things together with other people satisfy my soul. “ |
