Welcome to Turgleder

The name Turgleder can't be translated directly into one English word. It is built up from the two Norwegian words "tur" and "glede". "Tur" can be translated into journey, travel, hiking or other ways of travelling and then returning. "Glede" describes a feeling and can be translated into for example joy, happiness, pleasure, merry or delight. The name has a very positive ring to it and reflects everything we stand for.

Turgleder is now in the process of becoming a certified Norwegian ecotourism busines.

We are based at Rena in Hedmark County, Norway, 2 1/2 hours by train, bus or car from Oslo.
