Our motivation for establishing Turgleder was our desire to make a hobby, passion and life style into a way of living. We wanted to spend our time outdoors and at the same time be able to share our fantastic
experiences with other people.

Our philosophy
Turgleder is a certified ecotourism enterprise.
For us it is important to use the environment on it's own terms. We wish to leave as few traces as possible and as far as possible avoid wearing on the environment we enjoy. Wwe wish to disturb animals as little as possible and we ALWAYS avoid disturbing nesting and breeding areas.
We primarily cater for smaller groups. A small group leaves fewer traces and as a participant in a small group you will have a higher feeling of quietness and closeness to nature. In a small group you will get personal attention from your guide and at the same time you get the opportunity to meet other likeminded people whom you can share your experiences with.
Our guests
Our guests are generally interested in the environment and the outdoors. They are people with more or less experience with Norwegian nature and outdoor life. They seek the joy of travelling with good friends and colleagues or meeting new and exciting people. Our guests are conscious about nature and the environment and they see the value of having an experienced guide or the comfort of an arranged journey. Several businesses have chosen to use Turgleder for tours and arrangements. We can provide or organize what is needed for a successful business trip or meeting.
