About Turgleder

Our motivation for establishing Turgleder was our desire to make a hobby, passion and life style into a way of living. we wanted to spend even more time outdoors and at the same time be able to share our fantastic experiences with other people.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Turgleder is certified ecotourism.
For us it is important to use the environment on it's own terms. We wish to leave as few traces as possible and as far as possible avoid wearing on the environment we enjoy. When we are not hunting or fishing we wish to disturb animals as little as possible and we ALWAYS avoid disturbing nesting and breeding areas. While we are waiting for a Norwegian certification system for eco tourism we work according to the UN's principals for eco tourism.

We primarily cater for smaller groups. A small group leaves fewer traces and as a participant in a small group you will have a higher feeling of quietness and closeness to nature. In a small group you will get personal attention from your guide and at the same time you get the opportunity to meet other likeminded people whom you can share your experiences with.

OUR GUESTS

You who are our guest is interested in nature and the outdoors. You are a person with more or less experience with Norwegian nature and outdoor life. You seek the joy of travelling with good friends and colleagues or meeting new and exiting people. You are conscious about nature and the environment and you see the value of having an experienced guide or the comfort of an arranged journey.

Several businesses have chosen to use us for tours and arrangements. We can provide or organize what is needed for a successful business trip or meeting. Always according to the principals of eco tourism
